                Consider approving the appointment of Thomas J. Tallon as Chief of the Salt Lake City Fire Department.

2.       Board Reappointment:  Mark Hafey, Board of Adjustment

                Consider approving the reappointment of Mark Hafey to the Board of Adjustment for a term extending through December 31, 1999.

3.       Board Reappointment:  Curtis E. Ackerlind, Jr., Airport Authority Board

                Consider approving the reappointment of Curtis E. Ackerlind, Jr. to the Airport Authority Board for a term extending through January 15, 1999.

5.       Motion:  Historical Landmark Committee and Salt Lake City Planning Commission Case No. 047-94  (Macfarlane/Carr)

                Set date of February 14, 1995 at 6:10 p.m. to accept public comment and consider adopting a motion regarding installation of aluminum siding on the house at 120 L Street.  Petitioner has requested a hearing to appeal the decisions of the Historical Landmark Committee and Planning Commission.

                Set date of February 21, 1995 at 6:05 p.m. to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance to amend the Fiscal Year 1994-95 Budget.

                Set date of February 21, 1995 at 6:10 p.m. to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance amending fee and use guidelines for the City & County Building.

8.       Resolutions:  Special Improvement District No. 40-R-19

                a.       Consider adopting a resolution with respect to Salt Lake City, Utah Special Improvement District No. 40-R-19 amending Resolution No. 52 of 1993 adopted by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 18, 1993 to add properties to the District based upon executed copies of a waiver and consent and authorizing the City officials to complete certain improvements.

 

                b.       Consider adopting a resolution appointing a Board of Equalization and Review for Salt Lake City, Utah Special Improvement District No. 40-R-19; setting the dates for the Board of Equalization to hear and consider objections and corrections to any proposed assessments; authorizing the City Recorder to publish and mail a notice of meetings of the Board of Equalization and Review; and related matters.

                Consider adopting an ordinance to enhance Salt Lake City's ability to protect, preserve and replace City survey monuments.

2.       Resolution:  Interlocal Cooperation Agreement  (Utah Division of Water Resources)

                Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the approval of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and the Utah Division of Water Resources for cost sharing cloud seeding operations in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons.

3.       Resolution:  Programmatic Agreement  (Utah State Historic Preservation Officer; Advisory Council on Historic Preservation)

                Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the approval of a Programmatic Agreement among Salt Lake City Corporation, the Utah State Historic Preservation Officer and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation regarding an environmental review of federally-funded projects administered by Salt Lake City.

1.       Resolution:  Interlocal Cooperation Agreement Amendment  (Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City; Sutherland Building Material Shopping Centers, Inc.)

                Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the approval of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement Amendment among Salt Lake City Corporation, the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City and Sutherland Building Material Shopping Centers, Inc. regarding the development of real property at approximately North Temple and Redwood Road.

                Accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance vacating a portion of a north/south alley between Harold Street and Redwood Road off Gertie Avenue.
