I.   The Council will receive a briefing regarding Petition No. 400-98-3, request by Utah Nonprofit Housing Corporation, a proposed ordinance to rezone property located at approximately 1235 South Glendale Drive from R-1/5000 (Single Family Residential) to RMF-45 (Moderate/High density multi-family).  (Estimate time:   10 minutes)

II.  The Council will receive a briefing regarding Petition No. 400-98-33, request by Rex Wilden, a proposed ordinance to vacate an alley located between 800 South and Indiana Avenue (830 South) and between Emery Street (1170 West) and Glendale Street (1140 West).  (Estimated time:  10 minutes)

III. The Council will hold a discussion regarding a request by Council Member Carlton Christensen to initiate a small area master plan for two specific areas within the Rose Park Community Council boundaries:  1) a commercial node in the vicinity of the 900 West/1000 North intersection, and 2) the area extending north to the City limits from Rosewood Park and the Rose Park Golf Course, and west to Redwood Road from the west side of I-15.  (Estimated time:  10 minutes)

IV. The Council will hold a discussion regarding Phase One Airport Development Program quarterly report.  (Estimated time:  10 minutes)

V.  The Council will receive a briefing regarding annual Neighborhood Cleanup Program.  (Estimated time:  20 minutes)

 

VI. The Council will hold a discussion regarding homeless policy, including dispersal issues.  (Estimated time:  30 minutes)

VII.  The Council will receive a follow-up briefing regarding a proposed ordinance amending the Salt Lake City Code to enact zoning for the Gateway District.  The proposed changes include but may not be limited to:  1) creating a new D-4 Downtown District; 2) creating a new GMU Gateway Mixed Use District; 3) extending the boundary and making amendments to the text of the D-3 Downtown District; 4) making text amendments to the Sign Ordinance; 5) making text amendments to the Off-street Parking and Loading Ordinance; and 6) making text amendments to the Landscape and Buffers Ordinance.  (Tentative, if needed -- Estimated time:  15 minutes)
