AGENDA ITEMS

I.   The Council will interview Karen R. Hill prior to consideration of her appointment to the Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC). (Estimated time:  5 minutes)

II.  The Council will receive a briefing regarding Petition No. 400-97-16 to rezone properties located at 1365, 1379, and 1389 North Redwood Road from RMF-30 to R1/5000.  (Estimated time:  10 minutes)

III. The Council will receive a briefing regarding Petition No. 400-97-48, a request by Loftus International to rezone properties located on the north side of 900 South between 200 East and Roberta Street, from Commercial Neighborhood (CN) to Commercial Corridor (CC). (Estimated time: 10 minutes)

IV. The Council will receive a briefing regarding Petition No. 400-98-5, a request by Buzas Baseball, Inc. to create a sign overlay district for Franklin Quest Baseball Stadium and amending the Salt Lake City Zoning Code regarding the PL district sign ordinance.  (Estimated time:  10 minutes)

V.  The Council will hold a discussion regarding priorities for infrastructure funding in the Gateway District.  (Estimated time:  30 minutes)

VI. The Council will receive a briefing regarding fiscal year 1997-98 Budget Amendment #7.  (Estimated time:  15 minutes)

VII.     The Council will receive a briefing regarding the 1998 Budget Amendment #2 Salt Lake City/County Landfill budget.  (Estimated time: 5 minutes)

XIII.    The Council will consider adopting a motion to enter into Executive Session, in keeping with Utah Code, to discuss potential litigation.  (Estimated time:  15 minutes)
Note:  This Executive Session may be held earlier in the meeting.

XIV.     The Council will hold a discussion relating to any unresolved budget issues regarding the Mayor’s Recommended Budget for fiscal year 1998-99.  (Tentative)
